JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Accountant (US Real Estate / Property Management) – CPA Preferred

Job Description:
We are a fast-growing real estate and property management company based in Texas managing a large portfolio of rental properties.

We are looking for a high-level accountant who has real experience working with US clients and understands how to handle accounting in a fast-moving environment.

This is NOT an entry-level bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who can think, solve problems, and take ownership.

Responsibilities:

Full-cycle accounting for rental properties
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and owner statements
Track income, expenses, and project costs (rehabs / make-readies)
Work inside QuickBooks (or similar)
Clean up books and fix errors when needed
Communicate clearly with our internal team

Requirements (READ CAREFULLY):

CPA or US Accounting degree:
MUST have 2+ years working with US-based clients
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Detail-oriented and dependable

Bonus (not required but valuable):

Real estate or property management experience
Experience with AppFolio, Buildium, or similar
Experience tracking rehab / construction costs
