What this role is?
OPA Home Care & Skilled Nursing is a fast-growing private home care company in the Atlanta metro area. We operate on one standard: zero missed shifts. Recruiting is what makes that possible.
This is a production role. You will own Stages 1 and 2 of our hiring pipeline — from first contact to behavioral screen — and you will be measured on daily output, not activity.
If you are looking for a sourcing or resume-review role, this is not it. If you move fast, follow a process without being told twice, and are comfortable disqualifying candidates who do not meet the bar, keep reading.
What you will do?
Monitor inbound applications from ZipRecruiter and Indeed. Every applicant receives a response the same business day — 48 hours is the ceiling, not the target. Contact sequence is non-negotiable: digital message, phone call (two attempts), follow-up
When you reach a candidate, you are not screening — you are recruiting. Lead with who OPA is and why it is a good opportunity. Then confirm licensure (CNA, HHA, PCA, LPN, Med Tech, or RN), schedule availability, ability to start within 7 days, and willingness to go through our on-call integration period. Candidates who do not answer the phone, do not respond within 48 hours, or do not meet the basic requirements are disqualified. No second chances, no exceptions.
Candidates who pass your call are directed to complete a behavioral phone screen as their next step. You track completion and process outcomes. Advancing candidates receive a call from you within two hours and a credentialing
You will report daily metrics to our operations coordinator and maintain accurate pipeline status in AxisCare at all times.
What we are looking for
You have at least two years of high-volume recruiting experience in home care, healthcare staffing, or a high-output BPO environment. You have made a lot of outbound calls and you are comfortable doing it. Your English is strong enough to represent OPA professionally on a live call. You have worked in a CRM or ATS and you understand that logging is not optional.
Experience recruiting U.S. caregivers specifically — CNA, HHA, PCA, LPN, or RN — is a strong advantage. Familiarity with ZipRecruiter and Indeed pipelines is preferred.
More important than any credential: you respond fast, you follow a process without drifting from it, you are comfortable saying no to candidates who do not qualify, and you take accountability for your numbers.
