Sales Representative - Church App Platform
Who We Are
Vinebranch Labs is a nonprofit on a mission to help churches stay connected with their people beyond Sunday.
We are building a platform that gives every church their own app. Not a generic church management tool. A real, branded app for their church that keeps their congregation engaged throughout the entire week.
The centerpiece is something no one else has built: a personalization engine that takes a pastor's weekly sermon and turns it into daily devotionals, Bible study prompts, and scripture readings for the whole congregation, automatically, every week. The pastor preaches on Sunday, and their message reaches their people every single day after that, without the pastor doing any extra work.
On top of that, the app includes a prayer wall where members can share requests and pray for each other, event listings, community messaging, giving, small group tools, and more. Everything a church needs to stay connected in one place.
Most churches today have nothing. Maybe a Facebook group and a website from 2015. Their people walk out on Sunday and don't engage with the church again until next week. We are changing that.
Our founder previously built a SaaS company with 70+ employees and over $6M in annual revenue. We know how to build and scale software businesses.
But this time, we are doing it as a nonprofit, with all profits going toward spreading God's Word and supporting Christian causes around the world.
This is a ministry, not just a tech company.
Why This Matters
Think about what churches are dealing with right now.
Pastors spend hours every week preparing a sermon. They pour their heart into it. They deliver it on Sunday. And then on Monday, most of their congregation has already moved on. The message fades. People drift. By the time next Sunday comes around, they have to start from scratch.
What if that sermon could keep working all week?
What if every member got a daily devotional on their phone, tied directly to what their pastor taught on Sunday?
What if the church had a place where people could pray for each other, sign up for events, connect with their small group, and give, all in one app with their church's name on it?
That is what we are building. And we are going to bring it to thousands of churches.
We are starting with Churches in the US and Australia, where most churches have no app at all. The competition is thin, the need is real, and the price point is low so we plan to make it an easy decision for any pastor. We take their sermon, show them what their app could look like, and let the product sell itself.
This is showing a pastor something that makes them say, "I need this for my church."
The Role
We are hiring sales representatives to help us bring this product to churches, starting in the US or Australia.
Your job is simple: reach out to pastors and church leaders, introduce the platform, show them a personalized preview of what their church's app would look like, and help them get started.
What you will do day to day:
Research and build lists of churches to contact
Reach out to pastors and church leaders via email and phone
Walk them through a demo of the platform and show them what their church's app would look like
Follow up with interested churches and guide them through to signing up
Track your outreach and pipeline activity in a CRM
Share feedback from conversations with pastors so we can improve the product
Build relationships with pastors who can refer other churches to us
What we are looking for:
B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or outbound sales (ideally 2 years+ sales experience)
Strong English communication skills (you will be speaking with pastors daily)
A practicing Christian who attends church regularly and genuinely understands church life
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote role
Comfortable with cold outreach (email and phone)
Honest, warm, and able to build trust quickly
Why this role is different:
This is not selling software to a corporation that does not care. Every deal you close means a real church community gets a tool that keeps them connected to God's Word throughout the week. You are directly helping pastors extend their ministry. You will hear pastors get excited when they see what their app could look like. That is the daily experience of this job.
You are also getting in on the ground floor. This is an early-stage company with a founder who has already built and scaled a business before. Compensation:
Base salary plus commission on every church you close.
We care about results, not when you are sitting at a desk.
