Key Responsibilities

Off-Site SEO Focus
- Develop and execute high-impact link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
- Identify potential link-building opportunities through outreach, content partnerships, and community engagement.
- Monitor backlink profiles to mitigate risks (e.g., spammy links) and ensure continuous improvement in off-site presence.
- Lead digital PR efforts by pitching relevant content to influencers, journalists, and bloggers to increase brand mentions and referrals.

On-Site SEO (Working Knowledge)
- Collaborate with content, web development, and design teams to implement fundamental on-site optimization (e.g., meta tags, internal linking, keyword placement).
- Conduct basic site audits and provide recommendations to improve site structure, speed, and user experience.
- Ensure alignment between content strategy and SEO best practices.
- Answer Engine Optimization
- Optimize content for featured snippets, voice search, and other SERP features to increase visibility in answer-focused search queries.
- Research user intent and implement structured data markup (schema) to enhance the site’s chances of appearing in rich results.
- Stay updated on emerging voice search trends and conversational search behaviors to tailor optimization strategies accordingly.
- Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to track keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and site health.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics (impressions, traffic, conversions) and report on ROI for off-site campaigns.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, development, content) to ensure a cohesive SEO strategy that aligns with broader business objectives.
- Provide training or guidance to internal teams on SEO, link-building best practices, and emerging trends.
- Keep up-to-date with industry changes, algorithm updates, and new tools to continually refine optimization strategies.

Required Qualifications

- Proven Experience: 3+ years in SEO with a demonstrable track record of successful off-site SEO campaigns.
- Link-Building Mastery: Experience in developing and executing link-building strategies, including outreach, guest posting, and relationship management.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with on-site SEO essentials—crawlability, indexation, metadata, site architecture, and core web vitals.
- AEO Knowledge: Comfortable optimizing for featured snippets, voice search, and other answer-oriented formats.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with tea ---------- mbers, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on the latest industry trends and algorithmic changes, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with structured data implementation and schema markup.
- Familiarity with content marketing, digital PR, and influencer marketing.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to facilitate on-site optimization.
- Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or related platforms.
