-ABOUT US-
We're Pure Proposals, a PandaDoc consulting agency that helps businesses build professional proposal and quoting systems. We work with clients across Australia, the US, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK. Our clients range from entertainment venue groups to construction companies to SaaS businesses. We need a designer who can make their documents look incredible.
What You'll Be Designing
Document and proposal designs - this is the core of the role. We build proposal templates, quotes, contracts, and booking confirmations inside a platform called PandaDoc for our clients. You don't need to know PandaDoc. Your job is to design the layouts in Figma or your preferred design tool, and our team implements them into the platform. You'll take a client's brand and create polished, professional document designs that we then bring to life. What matters is your eye for layout, typography, and clean document design.
Social media graphics - LinkedIn infographics, carousels, and post graphics. We need someone who can take a topic or set of data points and turn them into visually compelling, shareable graphics. Not templated filler. Think the kind of infographic or carousel that makes someone stop scrolling because it's genuinely useful and looks great. We'll provide the content and direction, you make it visual.
Case studies and one-pagers - single or multi-page PDFs that showcase client results. Clean, modern layout with strong visual hierarchy.
Ebooks and guides - longer-form designed documents (10-20 pages) for lead magnets and client resources.
Website design assets - banners, graphics, and visual elements for our Framer website.
Brand collateral - helping consolidate and maintain our brand guidelines, creating consistent assets across all touchpoints.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Strong portfolio showing document layout and design (proposals, pitch decks, reports, case studies, or similar). This is the most important thing. If your portfolio is all logos and social media posts, this isn't the right fit.
Clean, modern design aesthetic. Think rounded edges, bold but not overwhelming colours, strong typography, plenty of white space. We like designs that feel premium without being overly corporate.
Proficiency in Figma and/or Canva. Adobe suite is a bonus but not required.
Responsive communication. We move fast and need someone who replies within a few hours during working hours.
Comfortable working asynchronously with clear briefs via Slack.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with infographic design or data visualization
Experience with presentation/pitch deck design
Basic web design skills (Framer, Webflow, or similar)
How to Apply
Send us:
1. A link to your portfolio. This is the most important part of your application. We're evaluating your design style and quality before anything else. Show us document layouts, proposal designs, pitch decks, case studies, brand collateral. The more relevant to what we described above, the better.
2. A short message (3-4 sentences max) telling us: your timezone, your hourly rate, and your typical availability per week.
3. One example from your portfolio that you think best represents the style of work we're describing.
We will not respond to applications without a portfolio link.
Put PROPOSALS at the start of your application. If you don't it will be automatically rejected.
