Sales Representative Test Task – MKB Media Solutions

This test is designed to assess your ability to initiate conversations and generate leads for MKB Media Solutions.
As a Sales Representative, your role will be to connect with potential clients and open the door for new business opportunities through effective outreach.
The Goal
At MKB Media Solutions, we help businesses improve their online presence and attract more customers through media mentions.
Your responsibility will be to reach out to potential clients, start meaningful conversations, and create interest in our services.
The Test
Instructions:
Please complete the following two tasks. Keep your responses clear, concise, and natural. We are looking for messages that feel human and effective, not overly scripted.
Cold Outreach (DM)
Write a short cold DM to a business owner (e-commerce brand) introducing our services.
Your goal is to start a conversation, not a hard pitch, personalize the message, and spark curiosity and interest.
Warm Outreach (Referral Message)
Write a message you would send to a friend, acquaintance, or connection asking for referrals.
Your goal is to keep it low-pressure, make it easy for them to help, and sound natural and genuine.
Evaluation Criteria
Your responses will be evaluated based on relevance, clarity, effectiveness, tone and style, and creativity.
We are looking for messages that fit the situation, are easy to understand, and would realistically get a response. Your tone should feel human, confident, and professional while still standing out.
Additional Information
You may use AI tools, but your final answers should feel authentic and personal. Keep responses short and to the point, and focus on real-world effectiveness.
