JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced crochet pattern designer to help us improve and recreate existing crochet pattern PDFs. Some of our current patterns require refinement or full redevelopment to ensure they are accurate, high-quality, and easy to follow.

This role is focused on producing clear, professional, and fully functional crochet patterns that accurately result in the finished item shown in reference images.

Responsibilities:

Review and proofread existing crochet pattern PDFs for accuracy and clarity
Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and unclear instructions
Recreate or redesign patterns when necessary to ensure they produce the intended final item
Deliver clean, well-structured, and easy-to-follow PDF patterns
Ensure proper formatting, stitch instructions, and logical flow

Requirements:

Proven experience in crochet pattern design (not just graphic design)
Ability to create patterns that can be realistically followed to produce the final product
Strong attention to detail and pattern accuracy
Ability to read and write standard crochet terminology (US terms preferred)
Portfolio of completed crochet patterns (required)

Nice to Have:

Experience selling or publishing crochet patterns (e.g., Etsy, Ravelry, etc.)
Ability to format patterns into clean, professional PDFs

Scope of Work:

Ongoing project-based work
Initial test task may be provided
Multiple patterns may be assigned weekly depending on performance
