Position Title: OpenClaw & Claude AI Developer
Employment Type: Part-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative OpenClaw & Claude AI Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining AI-driven assistants, automations, and workflows using OpenClaw and Claude AI.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI application development, prompt engineering, workflow automation, API integrations, and deploying practical AI solutions that improve productivity, customer engagement, and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI assistants and automated workflows using OpenClaw and Claude.
- Develop and optimise prompts, tools, and agent behaviours for business and operational use cases.
- Integrate AI solutions with internal systems, third-party platforms, messaging tools, CRMs, and web applications.
- Configure and manage OpenClaw environments, deployments, and supporting infrastructure.
- Work with Anthropic Claude models via API and implement secure, scalable usage patterns.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve AI workflow reliability, response quality, and performance.
- Monitor usage, outputs, and automation effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement guardrails, access controls, and quality checks to ensure safe and accurate AI operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional AI solutions.
- Document architecture, prompts, integrations, and workflow logic for ongoing maintenance and scalability.

Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in AI application development, automation, or agent-based workflow design.
- Hands-on experience with Claude AI / Anthropic API.
- Experience working with OpenClaw or similar AI agent / orchestration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or both.
- Experience with API integrations, JSON, webhooks, and backend logic.
- Familiarity with cloud or self-hosted deployment environments, Docker, and Linux-based systems.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool calling, and AI workflow design.
- Experience with data handling, security controls, and operational monitoring.
- Ability to debug complex automation issues across multiple systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI copilots, assistants, or workflow automation tools for business use cases.
- Familiarity with messaging and productivity platform integrations.
- Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, or knowledge-base-connected assistants.
- Understanding of AI governance, privacy, and responsible AI implementation.
- Experience working in a startup, product, or innovation-focused environment.
