We're Altira Pet, a growing DTC pet nutrition brand based in the US. Our hero product is Everyday Cat Gravy, a gravy-style food topper that boosts cats' health through daily use. We sell on Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy, and we are scaling aggressively through paid social (primarily Meta/Facebook ads).
We are hiring a full-time Creative Strategist to own our ad creative pipeline. This is a multi-hat role: you will be the engine behind our creative output, producing 10+ new ad creatives per week, tracking performance, sourcing UGC creators, and editing raw video content. You will work directly with our founders and our AI marketing tools.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Design and produce 10+ new ad creatives per week (static images, carousels, and short-form video ads) for Meta
- Research competitors, winning ad angles, and trending hooks to inform new creative concepts
- Keep an organized tracker of all creatives, hooks, angles, and performance results so we know what we have tested and what is working
- Edit raw UGC (user-generated content) video footage into polished ad-ready videos with captions, text overlays, and on-brand visuals
- Source and reach out to UGC content creators to secure raw video content for our brand
- Manage relationships with content creators (briefing, feedback, deliverable tracking)
- Generate product mockups and lifestyle images using AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, fal.ai, or similar)
- Maintain brand consistency across all creatives (we have a detailed brand guide you will follow)
- Collaborate with our team on new campaign ideas, seasonal promotions, and product launches
- Stay current on Meta ad creative trends, DTC marketing best practices, and what top pet/health brands are doing
REQUIRED SKILLS (MUST-HAVE):
- 3+ years experience creating ad creatives for DTC / e-commerce brands
- Strong portfolio showing static ad design AND video editing work
- Proficiency in design tools: Canva Pro, Photoshop, or Figma
- Proficiency in video editing: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with Meta
- Ability to write short-form ad copy (hooks, headlines, CTAs)
- Experience sourcing or coordinating UGC content creators
- Fluent English (written, as all communication is in English)
- Reliable internet connection, own computer, and the ability to work independently
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Experience with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Flux, fal.ai)
- Familiarity with pet industry or health/wellness brands
- Understanding of direct-response advertising principles (hooks, pain points, social proof, urgency)
- Experience with motion graphics or simple animation
- Knowledge of TikTok ad creative formats
- Experience managing a creative asset library or content calendar
