JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Virtual Assistant to support our media team across podcasts and YouTube content. This role works closely with the Media Manager and our Quality Analyst to keep content production, uploads, scheduling, and publishing organized and running smoothly across multiple clients and platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing timelines while following established workflows. You’ll be handling recurring publishing tasks, so consistency and accuracy are key.
This is a behind-the-scenes role where you’ll help ensure each episode or video is properly uploaded, scheduled, and published on time. If you enjoy structured work, staying on top of details, and keeping things moving without constant oversight, this will be a great fit.
This is a part-time role starting at ten hours per week (M-TR), with potential for growth as the workload increases.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all final assets are completed and ready at least one week before the scheduled release date
Work with Media Manager and confirm all required assets are approved and ready for scheduling at least two days before release
Schedule audio episodes and long-form videos across podcast platforms and YouTube, following established publishing standards and guidelines
Perform quality checks before publishing (titles, descriptions, links, thumbnails, audio/video files)
Maintain organized tracking of content status, deadlines, and approvals
Flag delays, missing assets, or issues early to the Media Manager

Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience managing YouTube uploads and scheduling.
Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Spotify for Creators, Podbean)
Understanding of podcast and YouTube publishing workflows and best practices
High attention to detail and content accuracy across platforms
Ability to manage multiple scheduling tasks and communicate proactively with the Media Manager
