WHAT YOU'LL DO
________________________________________

As our Senior Video Editor, you'll own the post-production process end to end and help raise the standard for the wider editing team.

Responsibilities:
• Edit long-form YouTube review and comparison videos from rough footage to final export — cuts, color, audio, motion graphics, and captions
• Build and maintain branded templates, lower thirds, intros/outros, and transition kits
• Collaborate directly with Andrew and Team on pacing, structure, and creative direction for each video
• Work efficiently through 4K footage pipelines without sacrificing quality or turnaround time
• Use AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Canva, OpusClip, etc.) to accelerate rough cut and repurposing workflows
• Provide clear, constructive critique to junior editors and assist with their training and development as needed
• Review thumbnail concepts and provide editing-informed feedback on click-worthiness
• Manage file organization, project archives, and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent videos
• Track hours and productivity using Hubstaff (required upon hire)

QUALIFICATIONS
________________________________________

Required:
• 3+ years editing YouTube or creator content professionally
• Expert-level in at least ONE of following: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
• Motion graphics skills (e.g. After Effects or Fusion)
• Fast and efficient with 4K footage — you don't let a heavy timeline slow you down
• Strong sense of pacing — you know when a cut is 2 seconds too long
• Comfortable with AI editing tools (e.g. OpusClip)
• Ability to give clear, actionable feedback and mentor junior editors
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Reliable internet (100 Mbps+ upload and download) and a capable 4K editing workstation
• At least 1 hour overlap in EST for check-ins and training (7PM PHT)

Nice to Have:
• Experience with Amazon Influencer or affiliate-focused content
• Experience editing product demos, reviews, or comparison formats
• Short-form editing experience (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
• Understanding of YouTube retention analytics and thumbnail strategy
• Familiarity with ---------- or similar review/delivery platforms
• Experience coordinating within a small content team
• Thumbnail and graphic design (e.g. Canva)

• $900–$1,200 USD/month, depending on experience and skills
• 13th Month Pay
