FJ De La Cruz Investments, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the financial health of our various entities. You will be responsible for the comprehensive financial management of several LLCs, including FJ De La Cruz Investments, Skylark Apts, Will Rogers Apts, Evergreen Apts, Barcelona Apts, Redwood Apts and King City.

We require a few hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) for collaboration, but the remainder of your working hours are fully flexible.

In this role, you will report directly to Frank De La Cruz and serve as the backbone of our financial operations.

Core Responsibilities: Your role encompasses comprehensive financial management and property accounting support:

Financial Management:
Preparing full financials and monthly financial reports for all LLCs.
Managing all journal entries directly within Appfolio.
Handling coding for FJ Credit Card and FJ Checking accounts.
Processing payments for reimbursements and management fees.

Reconciliations & Payroll:
Performing bank reconciliations for each LLC through Bank of America and Lutherbank.
Reconciling credit card statements for Lutherbank and Home Depot.
Reconciling bi-weekly and monthly payroll.

Property Accounting Support:
Managing the Rent Roll and recording all incoming rent.
Assisting Property Managers with adjusting tenant ledgers as needed.
Supporting rent increase implementations and processing financial tasks for tenant move-ins and move-outs.

Requirements
AppFolio Expertise: Proven experience and deep knowledge of AppFolio are strictly required for this position.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting management, specifically overseeing multiple entities or LLCs.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in bank and credit card reconciliation, payroll management, and financial reporting.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain precise records for rent rolls and diverse coding requirements.
