JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We've built an internal AI-powered tool that connects to our case management system (Clio) and automates drafting, trust diagrams, and client data tasks. We need a developer to own its growth and keep our technology running reliably. This is a true ownership role — you identify what needs to be built next, solve problems independently, and deliver without hand-holding.

What You'll Do

• Own the tool's ongoing development: maintain the Clio API integration, build new features, and proactively plan the next phase.

• Fix problems cleanly and independently: diagnose root causes, verify fixes hold, and don't wait to be walked through it.

• Use AI as a core development tool: collaborate with Claude Code and similar tools daily on architecture, UX, and problem-solving.

• Document everything: write clear instructions so non-technical staff can use new features as they launch.

What We Need

• This role is not for someone who needs guidance to get started. If you require significant support to build systems, troubleshoot issues, or figure out next steps, this is not the right fit.

• Proven experience building and maintaining API integrations or web-based tools

• AI is your daily driver — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar. You already use these tools instinctively, not occasionally.

• Strong written English for documentation and team communication

• Reliable setup: Windows, stable internet with backup, quiet workspace

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM CST
