We're looking for a seasoned digital marketing professional to manage and grow the personal brand of a Brisbane-based entrepreneur operating across promotional products, car rental, and AI/automation ventures.
> The Role
You'll own the full LinkedIn presence — content strategy, post creation, engagement, and audience growth. The goal is to position the founder as a thought leader at the intersection of entrepreneurship, AI-powered business systems, and e-commerce innovation.
> What You'll Do
- Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar (3–5 posts per week)
- Write and schedule posts in the founder's voice
- Engage meaningfully with comments and relevant industry conversations
- Identify and act on trending topics in AI, automation, e-commerce, and SMB growth
- Track performance metrics and refine strategy monthly
- Coordinate with the founder on key announcements (new ventures, hiring, milestones)
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, online advertising, or a closely related field — this isn't an entry-level role. We need someone who understands the full digital landscape including paid media, organic content strategy, SEO,
- 2+ years managing LinkedIn specifically for a founder, executive, or personal brand — with demonstrable follower growth and engagement results.
- A genuine understanding of business growth and entrepreneurship. You've either built something yourself, worked closely with founders, or operated in growth-focused roles. You need to "get" the mindset to write about it authentically.
- Actively up to date on developments in AI, automation, and how these technologies are reshaping business. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to discuss AI trends, tools, and their practical business applications with confidence and credibility.
> Skills & Capabilities
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write in someone else's voice — punchy, direct, no fluff
- Deep understanding of the LinkedIn algorithm: post formatting, hook writing, optimal timing, engagement tactics
- Experience with content repurposing (turning ideas, conversations, or business updates into compelling posts)
- Proficiency with LinkedIn analytics, reporting tools, and scheduling platforms
- Strategic thinker who can connect content to broader brand-building and business development goals
- Bonus: experience in B2B, e-commerce, SaaS, or startup spaces
- Bonus: basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar) for post visuals and carousels

You're a marketing professional first, not just a content poster. You understand how personal branding fits into a broader growth strategy and can think beyond vanity metrics. You're self-directed, don't need hand-holding, and can take a rough idea or a voice note and turn it into a polished post. You know that personal branding on LinkedIn isn't about corporate jargon — it's about authentic storytelling, sharing lessons learned, and building trust with an audience. You're across what performs well on the platform right now, not what worked two years ago. You read about AI developments because you're genuinely interested, not because someone told you to.
