I am seeking a passionate Video Editor to edit for our YouTube channels. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing videos based on the script and/or the guidance of the Producer. We are looking for someone who is very familiar with YouTube content and has a deep understanding of how to edit a video to maximize viewer retention. Our ideal candidate is creative, organized, and very detail-oriented.

The Video Editor should be able to keep up with current trends on the internet and have the creative ability to incorporate those trends into the content produced. The Video Editor will collaborate with the Producer to ensure all projects are edited to stay true to the company's vision. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with working on multiple projects simultaneously. Success in this position can be measured through completed projects that result in high viewer retention.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-Work on high-end studio machines via Parsec—no need for a powerhouse local PC, though a stable and fast internet connection is required.
-Work with Producers to edit raw footage into an engaging final product that maximizes viewer retention
-Add animations that elevate the edit
-Edit and implement notes from Producers promptly
-Manage a consistent production pipeline, typically averaging 1 long-form video and 5 YouTube Shorts per week, leveraging company templates and assets to maintain high quality and efficiency.
-Organize and archive all video files and assets used onto the company server according to company standards
-Troubleshoot technical issues
-Monitor and incorporate popular internet trends

Qualifications:
-Passion for editing successful YouTube videos
-Detail-oriented and extremely organized
-3+ years of video editing experience, online video experience preferred
-Extremely fluent in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite programs including, but not limited to: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Adobe Photoshop.
-Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with tea ---------- mbers

-Fast and reliable internet (Ethernet connection required)

Shift & Compensation:
Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM PT (1:00 AM – 9:30 AM PHT).
Salary: $1,600 - $2,500 USD per month.
