JOB OVERVIEW

We are a U.S.-based structural steel contractor seeking an experienced estimator who is highly proficient in Bluebeam and capable of performing accurate and efficient takeoffs independently.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands construction drawings and can work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam (structural steel, joists, deck, and misc. metals)
Review structural and architectural drawings
Identify missing scope and discrepancies
Organize takeoff quantities into clear summaries
Assist with pricing by preparing material lists for vendors

Requirements:

Strong experience using Bluebeam for takeoffs (required)
Experience with structural steel or construction estimating
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Nice to Have:

Experience with U.S. construction projects
Experience with Excel-based estimating
