We are looking for a meticulous academic editor or thesis specialist to prepare a completed Master’s thesis for final university submission.
This project is not a collaborative editing process or a long revision cycle. The thesis has already been written. The goal is to bring the document to a fully submission-ready standard with minimal input from the client.
If you are experienced with academic formatting, citation verification, and final manuscript polishing, this project may be a good fit.

Project Responsibilities
1. University Formatting Implementation
The editor will apply the official university formatting requirements exactly as outlined in the provided guidelines and sample documents.
This includes adjusting:
Page margins
Heading hierarchy
Page numbering and pagination
Table of Contents formatting
Citation formatting
Appendix formatting
Section structure and order
A detailed formatting guide will be provided and must be followed strictly.
2. Citation & Reference Review
Conduct a complete audit of citations and references throughout the thesis.
Tasks include:
Verifying citation accuracy
Ensuring all in-text citations appear in the reference list
Identifying missing or inconsistent sources
Correcting citation formatting errors
Ensuring full compliance with the required citation style
3. Final Document Refinement
Perform a final professional polish of the manuscript, including:
Grammar and sentence clarity improvements
Consistency in formatting across sections
Fixing alignment and spacing issues
Removing leftover formatting artifacts
Ensuring the thesis reads smoothly as a cohesive academic wor
4. Final Deliverables
The completed thesis must be delivered in:
Microsoft Word (.docx)
PDF format
The expectation is a fully submission-ready document that requires no additional editing.
Timeline
The project must be completed within 3 weeks from assignment.
Work Style
This role requires someone who can work independently and efficiently.
Communication will be minimal. The editor should only reach out if:
A critical clarification is needed
A structural issue impacts the final deliverable
Ideal Candidate
The ideal applicant will have:
Prior experience editing Master’s or PhD theses
Strong understanding of academic formatting standards
Familiarity with citation styles such as APA, MLA, or Chicago
Advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills
