This is a rare long-term opportunity to work directly with one of Australia’s most established short-term rental operators — supporting a growing portfolio of up to 800 properties across NSW.
Staff Connect Australia is building a high-performing offshore team, and we’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Property Operations Coordinator to become one of our foundational hires. If you’re sharp, confident on calls, and love problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, this role has serious growth potential.
You’ll be right at the heart of daily operations — handling bookings, guest and owner communications, issue resolution, and admin support — with exposure to every part of Australian short-term rental management.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, dynamic role. Your responsibilities will include:
- Guest & Owner Support
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with guests and property owners via Aircall
- Respond to enquiries and issues via Airbnb,
- Resolve problems efficiently and follow through to completion
Operations & Coordination
- Monitor bookings, availability, and calendars using Homhero, RMS, and other systems
- Coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure properties are guest-ready
- Assign and follow up maintenance tasks with trades or contractors
- Track cleans, maintenance, guest issues, and owner communications
Admin, Reporting & Growth
- Manage booking calendars, pricing, and blackout dates
- Assist with onboarding new properties and system setup
- Support compliance documentation (smoke alarms, council registration, etc.)
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports using spreadsheets or dashboards
- Help draft and improve SOPs, internal docs, and guest manuals
- Identify workflow gaps and suggest smarter processes or automations
As the business grows, your role will grow with it — including pricing, owner reporting, SOP ownership, and broader operational oversight.

- Can juggle multiple tools and tasks without being micromanaged
- Takes ownership and actually cares about doing things properly
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Excellent spoken & written English
- Stable internet connection
- Confident handling phone calls
- Experience (or fast learning ability) with Aircall, Homhero
- Familiarity with Airbnb,
- Strong organisational & multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred (but not mandatory)
- 2+ years in short-term rentals, property management, or admin support
- Experience working with Australian clients
- Exposure to cleaning teams or remote contractors
We’re open to candidates with less experience if you show initiative, strong communication skills, and the right mindset.
