Role Overview
We are looking for a charismatic, high-energy Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team. This is not a "behind-the-scenes" administrative role; you will be the face and voice of our company.
The ideal candidate possesses a pleasing personality—someone who is naturally approachable, professional, and persuasive. Your primary mission is to meet with potential candidates daily, accurately assess their English language capabilities, and lead inspiring information sessions that make people excited to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Language Proficiency Assessment
- Conduct live verbal and written English assessments for applicants.
- Utilize your ESL background to evaluate grammar, pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension.
-Provide detailed feedback and scoring to determine if a candidate meets our communication standards.
2. Dynamic Information Sessions
- Lead daily group and individual information sessions (virtual or in-person).
- Present the company’s vision, culture, and benefits in a way that is engaging and infectious.
- Act as a "Brand Ambassador," converting hesitant applicants into enthusiastic new hires through persuasive communication.
3. Candidate Relationship Management
- Maintain a warm and welcoming presence in all candidate interactions to ensure a "best-in-class" candidate experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the early stages of the hiring funnel.
- Follow up with high-potential talent to encourage them to complete the onboarding process.
4. Collaborative Recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers to refine language requirements for different roles.
- Report on candidate pipelines and conversion rates from information sessions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
The "Spark": A naturally pleasing, friendly, and professional personality. You should be someone people feel comfortable talking to immediately.
ESL Expertise: Previous experience in ESL teaching, tutoring, or English proficiency testing (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or CEFR standards).
Public Speaking: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to "command a room" (or a Zoom call) and keep an audience engaged.
Linguistic Mastery: Near-native English proficiency is a must. You must be able to spot subtle nuances in language use.
Empathy & Patience: The ability to put candidates at ease, especially those who may be nervous about their language assessment.
Sales Mindset: A background in recruitment or sales is a plus, as you will need to "sell" the career opportunity to top talent.
