JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a YouTube Video Editor VA from the Philippines to work on an existing sports education channel with 43,000 subscribers.

This is a flexible gig-based role, not a fixed full-time position at the start. The workload and hours will vary depending on the content schedule and current needs of the channel. However, as the channel continues to grow, this role has strong potential to develop into a more consistent long-term position, including full-time work for the right person.
Our content is not typical sports highlights content. It focuses on statistics, mathematics, and educational analysis related to sports, so we need someone who can do more than basic editing. We are looking for an editor who can use graphic storytelling to make analytical content engaging, clear, and easy to follow.

You should be comfortable turning scripts, voiceovers, or rough ideas into videos that use visual explanations, charts, numbers, motion graphics, on-screen text, and supporting visuals to help tell the story. The ideal person understands how to keep viewers engaged even when the topic is data-heavy, knows how to edit and structure videos to maximise audience retention, and can also repurpose existing long-form videos into short-form content for YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
