JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
Tayler Holder is a YouTube creator with over 1 million subscribers producing high-energy, cinematic vlog content in the vein of David Dobrik, NELK Boys, Logan Paul, and MrBeast. We're looking for an elite vlog editor who lives and breathes this style — someone who understands episode structure, knows how to engineer retention from the first frame, and can make 20 minutes feel like it flew by.
This is not a "talking head with some B-roll" role. We're building episodic content with real production value. If you've edited for creators at this level — or you're hungry to and have the reel to prove it — we want to hear from you.
Minimum commitment: 4 episodes per month, 8–30 minutes each.

What You'll Do

Edit 4+ YouTube episodes per month from raw footage, 8–30 minutes in final length
Engineer high-retention edits — strong cold opens, ---------- ntum-building pacing, no dead air
Build episode structure from unscripted or loosely scripted footage — finding the story, the funny ---------- nts, the peak beats, and the payoff
Execute fast cuts, whip pans, zoom punches, and high-energy transitions native to this style
Sound design — punchy SFX, music drops, audio cues that amplify every ---------- nt
Color grade for a cinematic, bold look consistent with top-tier YouTube production
Sync licensed or royalty-free music to energy beats throughout each episode
Add text overlays, lower thirds, graphic elements, and ---------- s where appropriate
Deliver chapters/timestamps and assist with thumbnail creative direction
Incorporate feedback fast and turn revisions around quickly

What We're Looking For
Must-haves:

Demonstrable experience editing in the David Dobrik / NELK / MrBeast / Logan Paul vlog style — your portfolio must show this, not just describe it
Deep understanding of YouTube retention mechanics — hooks, reengagement cues, pacing, chapter structure
Expert-level Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Strong sound design instincts — SFX, music sync, audio layering
Cinematic color grading
Ability to deliver 4+ polished episodes per month without quality slipping
Fast communicator who hits deadlines and flags issues before they become problems
Self-managed — you don't need to be micromanaged to deliver great work

Nice-to-haves:

After Effects for custom motion graphics and title sequences
Experience editing for creators with 500K–10M+ subscribers
Thumbnail design or art direction experience
Familiarity with YouTube Studio analytics — retention graphs, click-through rates

Compensation
Competitive per-episode rate based on experience and final edit length. Ongoing contract with room to grow as the channel scales.
