JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our wildlife photography tour company is looking for a creative, detail-oriented content manager to help bring our wildlife adventures to life online. You'll handle everything from raw footage to polished Reels — and help us build a consistent, engaging presence across social media, YouTube, and email. This is a part-time role with real creative ownership and room to shape how our brand shows up in the world. We're also launching a podcast-style interview series, and you'll be at the center of making that come to life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

???? Wildlife video editing: Color grade and stabilize raw wildlife footage for use across platforms.

????? Long-form interview editing: Cut full-length podcast-style interview videos for YouTube, including intros, chapter markers, and clean audio pacing.

???? Short-form clips from interviews: Identify the best ---------- nts from interviews and turn them into punchy Reels and YouTube Shorts with captions and hooks.

? Original short-form content: Produce Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts from wildlife footage with a storyteller's eye.

???? Footage library management: Build and maintain an organized, searchable archive of video, interview, and photo assets.

???? Social media calendar: Own our content calendar — plan, schedule, and keep us on track across all channels.

????Content ideation: Pitch original ideas that feel true to our mission and connect with our audience.

???? Email newsletter: Manage our email calendar, draft content, and hold us accountable to a consistent send schedule.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU
- Have hands-on experience editing video — color grading, stabilization, and audio cleanup are second nature to you
- Know how to structure a long-form interview edit: pacing, flow, removing dead air, and making a conversation feel compelling on screen
- Have a sharp eye for the "clip" inside longer footage — you instinctively know which 30 seconds will stop someone mid-scroll
- Know your way around asset management tools and think in systems when it comes to organizing media
- Have a genuine feel for short-form storytelling and what makes wildlife content resonate
- Are proactive — you spot content opportunities and bring ideas to the table without being asked
- Can balance creative freedom with a structured calendar and real deadlines
- Are comfortable with email platforms and have managed a newsletter or campaign schedule before
- Have a portfolio of social and/or long-form content you're proud of (wildlife, nature, or outdoor content is a plus)

TOOLS (famiarity preferred)
- Video: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- Audio cleanup: Adobe Audition, Descript, or similar
- Asset management: Google Drive, ---------- , Eagle, or similar library tools (we need help on determining the best library tool)
- Social scheduling: Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
- Email: Mailchimp
- Social Media: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube

Send your resume, a brief intro, and links to 2–3 examples of your work — including at least one edited video. Tell us what excites you about this opportunity. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a 30-minute skills test using a short video clip we provide.
