Phalanx Film Co. is a US-based production company specializing in story-driven commercial and documentary content. We produce creative campaigns and brand stories for clients across industries, specializing in medical and dental.
We’re looking to build a long-term partnership with a talented video editor who’s passionate about storytelling and wants to grow with us.

Initially, we are looking to hire for about 20 hours per week worth of work, but we want to develop a long-term partnership and scale up as we have more work to outsource. You’ll be our go-to editor for documentary-style short-form videos (talking head + b-roll storytelling pieces), with occasional long-form work as well. We're looking for an editor with experience editing for social media, for advertising, and for web (e.g., YouTube) as we have a variety of work we need done.

What you'll do:
- Edit documentary-style short-form content (typically 45–60 seconds).
- Build clean sequences from provided A-roll and B-roll.
- Integrate titles, graphics, captions, and stock footage (where needed).
- Edit dialogue, mix audio, and color grade.
- Maintain consistent visual pacing and emotional tone across edits.
- Follow Phalanx’s organization and delivery standards.

Requirements:
- Able to work 20 hours per week
- English fluency B2 or better
- Experienced video editor with established workflow in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
