About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join our holiday let
management team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest and host support across
platforms such as Airbnb,
booking to check-out.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and responsive, with the ability to support both
customer service and operational administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Communication & Support
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via Airbnb,
platforms
- Assist guests with booking inquiries, check-in instructions, and property information
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and positive reviews
- Be available to respond to guest messages based on business needs, including evenings and
weekends
Booking & Reservation Management
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications across multiple platforms
- Monitor calendars and ensure availability and pricing accuracy
- Coordinate with internal teams for booking confirmations and updates
Issue Resolution
- Act as the first point of contact for guest issues during their stay
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and property managers to resolve concerns
quickly
- Escalate urgent issues when necessary
Platform Management
- Maintain accurate listings across Airbnb,
- Update property details, house rules, and availability
- Monitor reviews and respond appropriately
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain records of guest interactions and booking details
- Assist in reporting and tracking guest satisfaction metrics
- Organise and manage business-related documents such as bills, invoices, and bank
statements
- Support day-to-day operational administrative tasks of the business
- Ensure all records and processes are kept organised, accurate, and up to date
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer support, hospitality, or short-term rental management
- Experience handling platforms such as Airbnb,
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management or holiday let operations
- Familiarity with PMS tools (e.g., Guesty, Hostaway, Lodgify)
- Experience using Xero (or similar) for invoicing, billing, and financial record management
- Experience in handling international guests
