JOB OVERVIEW

Hey!

I’m looking for a skilled and reliable video editor to create YouTube videos in the fitness niche (strength, mobility, longevity).

Videos are typically 12–15 minutes long, and I will provide:
Script
Voiceover

You do NOT need to research the topic.
Your job is to bring the video to life using:
Clips / B-roll
Images
Background music
Clean editing and pacing

Payment Structure (IMPORTANT):
$30–35 USD per English video (12–15 min)
+$10 USD per additional language

Each project usually includes:
English version
3 translated versions
Total per project: $60–65 USD

???? About Translations:
Translations are fairly easy work:
Script + voiceover are fully provided
Same video structure as English version
You mainly adjust timing and text to match the new voiceover

Style:
Clean and professional
Strong pacing (VERY important)
Engaging but not over-edited
Focus on retention
You will follow brand guidelines, but you’re encouraged to be creative within that style.

Workflow:
Around 1 video per week
Potential for more if things go well
Deadline: within 48 hours per video

I’m looking for someone who:
Has experience editing YouTube videos
Understands pacing and viewer retention
Is fluent in English
Is reliable and meets deadlines
Can source relevant clips and visuals

IMPORTANT (Read carefully):
If you’ve read this, write your favorite animal at the beginning of your application.

Also include:
1-2 examples of your best YouTube edits

Answer this question:
What makes a YouTube video engaging in the first 30 seconds?

Be ready to complete a 1-minute test edit (English only, no translations)

Example Video Style: ---------- /watch?v=Ay_aUQBVJGs

?? Important:
I care a lot about quality.
The visuals should match what is being said — not just fill space.

If you naturally notice small details, pacing, and flow, you’ll do very well here.

Looking forward to working with you long-term if it’s a good fit.
