We’re a small, creative food content team looking for a Video Editor & Food Content Assistant to help create recipe videos for social media.
This is not a typical kitchen role.
It’s a mix of:
* video editing
* cooking
* filming
* content creation
You’ll be working closely with a small team (including one other creator), learning hands-on and helping bring recipes to life on camera.

What you’ll be doing
* Plan ahead and purchase ingredients for assigned recipes (costs covered)
* Prepare and cook recipes by following instructions precisely
* Film the cooking process using your phone (capturing key steps and angles)
* Set up shots, angles, and sequences to match the required style
* Plate and finish dishes with a clean, visually appealing presentation
* Review footage and refilm if needed to get the best result (quality matters more than speed)
* Edit short-form videos (Reels / TikTok style)
* Upload final footage and files to Dropbox
* Clean and reset the kitchen between recipes
* Provide feedback on recipes and suggest improvements for future versions
Requirements
* Must own an iPhone 12 Pro or newer (or equivalent with high-quality camera)
* Must have video editing experience (CapCut or similar)
* Must live near Taguig / Parañaque / Bicutan area
* Must be an experienced home cook (confident following recipes independently)
* Must have strong attention to detail and precision, especially with measurements
* Able to follow recipes closely and repeat results consistently
* Comfortable working in a kitchen environment
* Not afraid of hard work (this role can be physical and involves being on your feet)
* Takes ownership of their work and cares about producing high-quality output
* Reliable and consistent
* Comfortable working in a private home kitchen (apartment setting)
Preferred (but not required)
* Experience with baking and desserts
* Experience with pastry-style finishes (e.g. neat frosting, piping, decorating baked goods)
* Good eye for food presentation and plating
* Ability to execute clean finishes (spreading, drizzling, layering)
* Strong knife skills and clean portioning
* Interest in content creation or social media
* Familiarity with vegan or plant-based cooking (bonus)
Work Setup & Pay
* Training: hands-on, paid daily rate (3 days per week)
* You’ll be trained directly within the team
* Filming is currently done in a private home kitchen with a small team
* This role requires a high level of trust, professionalism, and respect for the space
After training:
* Flexible hours (must film during good daylight for best quality footage)
* You are responsible for managing your own output
Expected output:
* Minimum 5 videos per week
* 2–3 videos per day is achievable once trained
* No upper limit on output if quality is maintained
Pay structure:
* $11 USD per basic recipe
* $14 USD per mid-level recipe
* $17 USD per complex recipe
* Small monthly retainer
* All ingredients are covered, and you keep the food you make
