JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled WordPress web designer to help continue building and updating pages for a growing local business website.

This is a long-term position with consistent weekly work.

You will be working inside an existing website structure, so it’s very important that you can follow direction and build within an established layout — not redesign everything from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Building and editing pages using Elementor
Updating layouts, text, and images
Following an existing design structure and page flow
Making revisions based on feedback

Requirements:

Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (comfortable working with it inside Elementor)
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to assist with content/layout
Ability to follow instructions and match an existing design style
Good communication and responsiveness

Basic SEO Understanding (Preferred):

Understanding of heading structure (H1, H2, H3)
Ability to add image alt text properly
Following internal linking instructions
Attention to clean page structure for SEO

Following assigned tasks (no self-assigned work)
Clear communication and updates
Ability to make revisions quickly
Attention to detail and consistency

You Are a Good Fit If You:

Can work within an existing system (not redesign everything)
Are detail-oriented and consistent
Can take direction and execute quickly
Have experience using AI tools to assist with builds

You Are NOT a Good Fit If You:

Prefer to build everything your own way
Ignore instructions or change layouts without approval
Struggle to follow an existing structure
Are slow to respond or difficult to coordinate with
