Who We Are
The Foundry is the product arm of Rareform Audio — a music and audio post production house specializing in music for movie trailers, ads, film, and TV. The Foundry builds sample instruments and tools for music producers and composers. We hold ourselves to an obsessive standard of excellence across everything we do and everything we put out into the world.
The Role
We create content. Your job is to make it go everywhere.
When we record a product walkthrough, a demo, a tutorial — you take that single piece of content and multiply it across every platform in every format. Clips for TikTok and Reels. A full video on YouTube. A blog post on our site. A quote graphic for Instagram. A thread for Reddit. A post for LinkedIn. Screenshots turned into content. Features from other creators using our products. One source, maximum reach.
This is not a passive role. You need a sharp creative eye, genuine understanding of social media culture and trends, and enough knowledge of music production to write and speak about our products intelligently. You don't need to be a producer but you need to understand the world — why a sample sounds incredible, what makes a plugin useful, how to communicate that to someone who lives in a DAW.
What You'll Do
- Take source videos and content and repurpose them into clips, reels, shorts, blogs, quote graphics, screenshots, and posts across all platforms
- Edit and post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube,
- Write blogs about our products for The Foundry and related channels — written with genuine understanding of music production
- Edit thumbnails and adjust templates to fit our branding with a sharp visual eye
- Stay on top of social media trends and
- Feature content from other creators and producers using our products
- Like and comment on music producer and composer content daily to build brand awareness and community presence
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all platforms without dropping anything
What We're Looking For
- A genuine understanding of music production culture — you know what producers care about and how they talk
- Strong video editing skills — clean cuts, good hooks, platform-native formatting
- Strong writing skills — blogs and captions that sound human, informed, and on brand
- A sharp visual eye — thumbnails, graphics, and templates that look premium not amateur
- Deep social media fluency across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit,
- Up on trends — you know what's moving right now and how to jump in naturally
- Highly organized — managing multiple platforms and content formats simultaneously without dropping anything
- Self-directed and creative — able to take a piece of content and run with it without being told every step
Important Attributes We Hire For
We build our team around infinite learners, self-directed problem solvers, and people with high standards of excellence. Trustworthy, driven, accountable, and high energy. If those words describe you naturally you will fit here. If you need to be pushed to meet a basic standard this is not the right place.
This Role Is NOT For You If
- You don't understand music production or the producer community
- Your video editing is basic or your thumbnails look amateur
- You are not genuinely plugged into social media trends across multiple platforms
- You need to be told exactly what to do with every piece of content
- You treat this as a mechanical posting job with no creative investment
How to Apply
Record a short Loom video (3–5+ minutes) and paste the link in the form below. In your video:
1. Show us something you've built. A brand, a page, a content system, a campaign — anything. Show us what you're capable of and tell us why you're proud of it.
2. Show us something you've edited. A clip, a reel, a short. Walk us through your creative decisions — why you cut where you cut, why you chose that hook, why it works.
3. You just received a 10 minute product demo video for a sample instrument aimed at music producers. Walk us through how you would turn that single video into a full content campaign across every platform. What do you make, where does it go, how do you target it, and how do you maximize its reach to the right audience.
4. Tell us about a social media trend you jumped on — how you made it relevant to a brand or project and what the result was.
Also include links to any social media accounts, content, blogs, or editing work that shows us what you can do. No portfolio, no review.
Applications without a Loom video and examples of previous work will not be reviewed.
