***DO NOT MAKE OR SEND ME AI VIDEO ADS I DO NOT CARE!!***
I need a video editor who can edit my ads to sell, not ads that look pretty.
I run a US marketing agency and a AI tech company. You'll be editing video ads for our clients, short form content for social media, and longer sales videos (VSLs) for our products. Everything you make has one job: get someone to take action. Click, call, buy, sign up.
You should already know what a hook is, why the first 3 seconds matter more than the rest of the video, and how pacing affects whether someone watches to the end or scrolls past.
What you'll actually do:
Edit 30-60 second video ads for Meta and YouTube from raw footage I send you
Edit longer form VSL style videos (3-10 minutes) with proper pacing and retention techniques
Add text overlays, motion graphics, and captions that keep attention
Cut up webinar and seminar recordings into short clips for social media
Create multiple hook variations for the same ad so we can test which one wins
Edit product demo videos for a AI desktop software product, (basically of you useing it and then posting it with nice editing of what the features are and what it does.)
Deliver 12-14 pieces per week across multiple brands
What I'm looking for:
You've edited ads or paid social content before (not just vlogs or wedding videos i really don't care if you did these)
You use Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut and can do motion graphics in After Effects
You understand that a jump cut at the right
You can take a boring talking head and make it something people actually finish, actually watch the video for a few seconds on this VSL:
You've seen the style of content that Alex Hormozi, Iman Gadzhi, or similar creators put out. That energy and pacing is what I want.
2 hours overlap with US Pacific time
You can turn around a 30 second ad edit in a few hours.
$1,000/month. Full time. Long term. If your work performs well in campaigns (we track it) there are bonuses. And the longer we build together for the more the pay goes up.
