JOB OVERVIEW

Content Creation (Part-Time, Remote | Growth Opportunity)
We are a fast-growing health & wellness brand focused on functional medicine (thyroid, metabolism, and root-cause healing). We’re looking for a high-performing Content Creation Assistant to help us scale across social media with intention and quality.
This is not a basic VA role — we are looking for someone who understands content, trends, and storytelling, and wants to grow with a brand long-term.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for supporting our content engine end-to-end:
Researching trends and viral content
Ideating and scripting posts
Editing and repurposing content
Posting across platforms (IG, TikTok, etc.)
Responsibilities
Study viral content and trends daily (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Generate content ideas aligned with our niche (health/functional medicine)
Write scripts for:
Storytelling short-form videos
Educational content
Viral-style hooks and angles
Edit videos (B-roll, captions, pacing, hooks)
Repurpose long-form into multiple short-form pieces
Create carousel posts (educational + engaging)
Schedule and post content consistently
Collaborate and communicate with the team for feedback and improvements

Requirements
Strong understanding of social media trends and viral content
Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, etc.)
Good sense of storytelling, hooks, and audience psychology
High attention to detail and quality
Professional, reliable, and communicative
Fast learner with a growth mindset
Able to take feedback and improve quickly
Work Schedule
Part-time: 4 hours/day
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM PST (fixed schedule)
Compensation
$400/month (first 3 months – training period)
$500/month after 3 months (based on performance and fit)

Test assignment:

Part 1: Viral Research (Thinking Test)
Find 3 viral videos in the health / wellness / weight loss / thyroid niche.
For each video:
Link the video
Explain:
Why it went viral (hook, structure, emotion, curiosity, etc.)
Who the target audience is
How you would adapt this for our brand (functional medicine / thyroid)
Part 2: Script Writing (Strategy + Copy)
Write a short-form video scripts (30–60 sec):
Topic: Root cause vs conventional medicine
Style: Educational + authority
Each script must include:
Strong hook (first 3 seconds)
Clear flow
Call-to-action (book a call / learn more)
Part 3: Short-form edited video by you.
