About the Role
We're looking for a video editor who can deliver polished, on-brand video content across long-form YouTube videos, short-form clips, and podcast-style edits. You'll receive raw footage, a brand guide, and clear direction. Your job is to turn that into something calm, clean, and credible.
Our audience is healthcare marketing directors. They're skeptical, under pressure, and allergic to anything that feels loud or chaotic. If the editing feels like a YouTuber highlight reel, you're not the right fit. If you can make something feel smooth, confident, and purposeful, keep reading.
What You'll Be Editing
Long-form YouTube content (educational, strategy-focused)
Short-form vertical clips for YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
Podcast-style interview edits
Occasional promotional or explainer videos
What We Expect
Strong hooks in the first 5 to 8 seconds. No slow intros. No "hey guys welcome back." Get to the point.
Moderate pacing. Let ideas land before moving on. No rapid-fire cuts for the sake of energy.
Clean transitions only. Simple cuts and fades. No flashy wipes, slides, or animated gradients.
On-screen text that reinforces the point being made, not decorates it. Bold key phrases, not everything. Five words or fewer per graphic.
Sound design that is subtle and intentional. A light click or whoosh on text is fine. No bass drops,

You'll receive a full brand guide before starting.
What You Need
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
Experience editing talking-head and educational content (not just montages or music videos)
The ability to follow a brand guide closely without being asked twice
Clean file management and organized project files
Reliable communication and turnaround times
Bonus Points
Experience editing content in healthcare, B2B, or professional services
Familiarity with YouTube best practices (retention, pacing, thumbnail alignment)
Motion graphics capability for simple lower thirds and text treatments
Comfortable working in Google Drive for file delivery and collaboration
