Hello!
I run a YouTube channel and need someone to help find interesting, non-obvious visuals (b-roll, clips, images) to match my scripts. This is NOT basic research - huge emphasis on visual research!
You will:
- Read short script sections
- Suggest creative visual ideas (not always literal)
- Find real clips/images that match those ideas
Example:
If the script says:
“Two people took a substance and died”
Bad:
- Pills
- Coffins
Good:
- Empty chairs at a table
- Flickering hospital hallway lights
- Abandoned bedroom with sunlight coming through the window
That’s the level of thinking I expect.
What You’ll Do:
- Suggest 2–3 visual ideas per script line
- Find matching clips/images (YouTube, stock, etc.)
- Send links and organize everything clearly (Google Doc or similar)
Requirements:
- Strong visual taste (you can tell what feels interesting vs generic)
- Understand mood, storytelling, and tone
- NOT overly literal thinking
- Bonus: familiarity with YouTube editing/pacing
Hours & Pay:
- ~15 hrs/week
- $400/month
To apply:
1. Start your application with the word “orange”
2. Answer this:
If the line is "He slowly lost everything," give three (3) different visual ideas that are NOT literal.
3. For EACH idea:
- Include a direct link to a real clip/image you found
- In 1–2 sentences, explain WHY you chose it and how it fits the line
Important:
Do NOT use AI tools for this. I am specifically looking for your personal thinking and taste.
