Job Description
Nile Language Services is a fast-growing language service provider offering interpretation and translation services across 80+ languages nationwide. We specialize in medical, legal, and workers’ compensation interpretation, with a strong focus on reliability, fast communication, and quality service.
We are currently seeking a Remote Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, including scheduling, recruiting, communication, and overall team coordination.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that all assignments are staffed efficiently and that communication with interpreters and clients remains consistent and professional.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily scheduling of interpreter assignments
Ensure all appointments are fully staffed and confirmed
Communicate with interpreters via
Recruit, interview, and onboard new interpreters
Follow up with interpreters regarding availability, attendance, and invoices
Monitor assignments and handle last-minute changes or cancellations
Respond to client
Maintain accurate records of assignments, confirmations, and follow-ups
Monitor team performance to ensure all tea
Ensure all tea
Assist in improving workflows and operational efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in operations, scheduling, or team management
Must have previous operations management experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Experience working with remote teams and US-based clients preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent situations
Strong attention to detail — nothing gets missed
Ability to follow systems, processes, and checklists
Comfortable making calls and handling professional communication

Must have prior management or leadership experience
Must speak great English and communicate effectively
Highly meticulous and detail-oriented — nothing gets overlooked

Works fast and efficiently without sacrificing accuracy
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Reliable and consistent, with strong work ethic and dependability
