We are building a new online marketplace called GoShopBlack, and we are looking for a detail-oriented assistant to help create and manage business listings on the platform.
Your role will be to research real businesses and accurately build their profiles inside our system so the marketplace looks complete and professional before launch.
This is NOT random data entry; accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Research real businesses (we will provide guidelines and some examples)
Recreate and add real businesses to our platform
Create full business profiles inside our system
Each listing must include:
Business name
Description
Location
Website / social links (if available)
Products or services (minimum 10 per business when applicable)
Images (logo, product photos, etc.)
Ensure all listings are clean, consistent, and professional.
You will also:
Help set up listings for businesses that pay for onboarding
Follow structured instructions for different listing types
IMPORTANT (READ CAREFULLY)
You are creating listings for REAL businesses only
No fake businesses
No guessing or making up information
Everything must be accurate and verifiable

REQUIRED TEST (READ CAREFULLY)

Step 2 — Create Your Account

Add the business to the platform
Recreate the business using:
Their website
Their social media
Publicly available information
Step 4 — Build a Complete Listing
Your listing MUST include:
Business name
Description (clean, not messy copy/paste)
Location
Use your
Website / social links
At least 5 products or services (if applicable)
High-quality images (logo + product/service images)
IMPORTANT:
After you submit the business listing, you MUST go back into the listing and add products/services.
At least 5 products or services (if applicable)
The system currently allows products/services to be added AFTER the initial submission.
Your test is NOT complete until products/services are added.
Step 5 — Submit Your Test

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Strong attention to detail
Good research skills
Experience with:
Data entry
E-commerce platforms (Shopify, marketplaces, etc.)
Can follow instructions exactly
Organized and consistent
BONUS (NOT REQUIRED)
Experience creating product listings
Familiarity with marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, etc.)
Basic understanding of business profiles
TOOLS & REQUIREMENTS
You will be required to install and use Hubstaff (time tracking software) on your desktop if hired
PAY
Paid weekly via Remitly (every Friday)
Part-time to start (30 hours/week)
