We are looking for a serious, detail-focused, technically strong specialist who has real experience with Shopify and Google Merchant Center, especially with:
* GMC misrepresentation / suspension / website needs improvement issues
* Shopify store reviews for policy, trust, compliance, and technical consistency
* Feed errors, product disapprovals, attribute issues, sync issues
* checking and fixing issues between Shopify, feed apps, landing pages, and Merchant Center
* going through detailed GMC checklists and actually improving the store properly
This is not a simple VA role and not just a product upload role.
We need someone who can think deeply, work carefully, and get real quality out of their hours.
Our store is already live and we are actively trying to get the cleanest possible Google Merchant Center setup and approval path. We need someone who can help us review, fix, and improve everything properly so the store is as safe, compliant, and stable as possible for Google.
What you will work on
Your role will include work such as:
* reviewing our Shopify store for GMC-related risk points
* checking our Google Merchant Center thoroughly
* reviewing a detailed GMC checklist point by point
* identifying anything that is:
* incomplete
* inconsistent
* risky
* misleading
* weak for Google trust/compliance
* fixing issues in:
* product data
* attributes
* feed setup
* sync issues
* policy pages
* trust signals
* business information consistency
* landing page consistency
* Shopify settings / theme output where relevant
* reviewing how products, attributes, and website pages align between:
* Shopify
* feed app(s)
* Google Merchant Center
* helping us make the store as GMC-safe and approval-ready as possible
Important
We are not looking for someone who only writes reports, gives generic advice, or repeats policy help pages.
We want someone who can:
* review deeply
* find real issues
* explain clearly
* implement fixes
* work with urgency and quality
If you are someone who only checks things superficially, this is not the right role.
What we are specifically looking for
You should ideally have strong experience with:
Shopify
* product setup
* collections
* navigation
* policy pages
* theme settings
* product pages
* app interactions
* store trust / UX review
* fixing inconsistencies
Google Merchant Center
* product disapprovals
* feed errors
* missing attributes
* policy-related restrictions
* website quality issues
* misrepresentation-related reviews
* diagnostics and issue checking
* preparing a store/feed for approval
Feed / product data / sync
* attribute mapping
* apparel requirements
* availability / inventory sync
* pricing consistency
* feed-to-landing-page consistency
* issues caused by product pushes / imports / updates
GMC checklist / compliance mindset
You must be comfortable going through a detailed checklist and checking everything carefully and one by one, not loosely.
The type of person we want
We are looking for someone who is:
* highly detail-oriented
* careful and precise
* honest and direct
* technically capable
* proactive
* strong in communication
* responsive
* able to work independently
* able to explain what is wrong, what was fixed, and what still needs work
We value quality per hour very highly.
That means we care much more about real useful output than empty activity.
Daily work expectations
We want someone who can work seriously and with focus.
You must be willing to:
* track hours clearly
* send clean updates
* communicate blockers quickly
* stay structured
* move with urgency when needed
What to include in your application
Please do not send a generic application.
When you apply, include:
1. your experience with Shopify
2. your experience with Google Merchant Center
3. whether you have worked on:
* misrepresentation issues
* website needs improvement issues
* suspensions
* product disapprovals
4. examples of what types of GMC / Shopify issues you have personally fixed
5. whether you are comfortable reviewing a full GMC checklist point by point
6. whether you can also implement fixes, not only audit/report
7. your hourly rate
8. your availability per day / week
9. how fast you can start
Final note
We are looking for someone who can become genuinely valuable to the team, but right now the first priority is simple:
help us review and improve the store and GMC setup properly, thoroughly, and with real quality.
If that sounds like you, apply with a serious and specific response.
