THE OPPORTUNITY:
NtrlMan is hiring an experienced E-Commerce Video Editor to produce scroll-stopping video ad content for our paid social channels. You will edit raw footage, UGC clips, product visuals, and sourced content into high-performing video ads for
We are looking for someone who understands the pace of paid social video — fast hooks, punchy cuts, captions that retain attention, and calls to action that convert. If you have edited video ads for e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands before and have the results to show for it, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Editing short-form video ads (15–60 seconds) for
Cutting raw footage and UGC (user-generated content) clips into tight, high-energy ad edits
Adding on-screen captions, text overlays, animated hooks, and branded lower-thirds
Sourcing and incorporating royalty-free B-roll, music, and sound effects to complement the edit
Creating multiple versions of each ad with different hooks for split testing
Formatting and exporting videos to correct platform specs (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for each placement
Editing product demonstration videos, transformation content, and educational supplement explainers
Maintaining consistent brand tone — premium, masculine, confident, and natural
Organising project files and delivering assets with clear naming conventions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience editing paid social video ads specifically for e-commerce brands — not just general video editing
A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating real video ad work — ideally in health, fitness, wellness, beauty, or consumer products
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro — CapCut proficiency is a bonus for fast-turnaround TikTok edits
Solid understanding of what makes a short-form video ad perform: strong opening hook within 3 seconds, retention editing, clear CTA
Experience with caption styling, kinetic typography, and motion text overlays
Ability to colour grade footage to a consistent, branded look and feel
Fast turnaround capability — we move at pace and need editors who can deliver quality quickly
Excellent communication, file management, and the ability to take direction and iterate on feedback efficiently
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience editing UGC-style ads that feel authentic and unpolished — not just branded productions
Basic motion graphics skills in After Effects or similar
Understanding of TikTok and Reels trends and how to leverage native-feeling edits for paid ads
Previous work with supplement, nutraceutical, or men's lifestyle brands
Ability to suggest creative ideas for ad concepts — not just execute briefs
TWO EXAMPLE BRIEFS — WHAT YOU MIGHT WORK ON:
Brief 1 — TikTok Hook Ad: Edit a 30-second TikTok ad for The Peak Gummy using UGC footage of a man in his morning routine. The ad opens with a bold on-screen hook: "Why your testosterone is lower than your grandfather's." Cut to product reveal, ingredient callouts, and a subscribe CTA. Deliver two versions with different opening hooks for A/B testing.
Brief 2 — Instagram Reel Product Ad: Edit a 20-second Reel-format video ad using product close-ups and lifestyle footage. Voiceover explaining the 90-day protocol concept, animated text callouts for each ingredient, and an end card with the NtrlMan logo and a "Subscribe" CTA. Deliver in both 9:16 and 1:1 formats.
PAY & HOURS:
Rate: $5.00 – $6.00 per hour depending on experience and showreel quality
Part-time: expected 10–20 hours per week, with scope to increase as ad volume grows
Flexible schedule: output quality and deadlines are what matter
Paid weekly via your preferred method
