JOB OVERVIEW

Customer Service & Client Support Assistant (Equestrian Photography Business)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented assistant to help manage customer communication and daily operations for a high-volume equestrian photography business.

We work at major hunter/jumper horse shows, including Tryon and Traverse City. You will be communicating directly with clients, assisting with scheduling, and helping ensure a smooth customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer service emails in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate additional editing requests with our editing team
Respond to private client inquiries and assist with scheduling bookings
Help locate missing orders and troubleshoot delivery issues
Assist with photoshoot inquiries and scheduling
Maintain clear, professional, and friendly communication with clients
Process refunds when needed
Schedule and send weekly competitor texts and emails

Schedule & Availability:

$7/hour
Approximately 2–4 hours per day
7 days per week (daily check-ins required)
Must be available throughout the day (not just one block of time)
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are typically the busiest days and require the most availability
Workload increases during active horse show weeks

Requirements:

Fluent in English with strong written communication skills
Comfortable communicating directly with clients
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Reliable internet connection
Comfortable using Gmail (required)
Familiar with FloDesk or similar email marketing platforms
Experience with SimpleTexting or similar SMS tools is a plus
Willing to learn new systems (training provided for ShootProof and other tools)

Important:
This role requires checking messages multiple times throughout the day. This is not a single set block of hours.
