We are a UK-based care home group operating multiple residential and nursing homes. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to take full ownership of recruitment and onboarding across the group.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks daily.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Recruitment Coordination
Contact each care home manager daily to:
Identify current staffing requirements
Track candidates in the pipeline
Review outcomes of recent interviews
Provide a daily summary
Vacancies per home
Pipeline status
Any risks or urgent staffing gaps
2. Job Advert Management
Review and manage all job listings across platforms (Indeed,
Ensure all adverts are:
Active
Accurate
Relevant to current vacancies
Update or remove outdated listings
3. Candidate Screening & Interviews
Review all incoming applications
Invite suitable candidates to an initial interview (conducted by you)
Conduct structured interviews and assess suitability
Prepare clear interview notes and recommendations
Progress strong candidates to final interview with the care home manager
4. Onboarding & Compliance
Once approved by the manager:
Prepare all required legal and compliance documentation
Create a complete staff file in our internal system
Ensure all onboarding steps are completed before start date
Liaise with managers to ensure smooth onboarding
5. Recruitment File Auditing (CRITICAL)
Audit recruitment files across all care homes to ensure full compliance
Identify missing or incomplete documents
Proactively chase:
Applicants
Managers
Ensure all staff files meet UK regulatory requirements (CQC standards) (you will get training)
6. Support the UK Payroll team in day to day work
Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organisational and communication skills
High attention to detail (non-negotiable)
Experience in recruitment, HR, or administration preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working with UK-based teams and systems
