JOB OVERVIEW

Build A Gym is a fast-growing fitness equipment company based in Texas. We sell and install commercial and home gym equipment under the BUILT Strength brand, and we're scaling our content. We need an editor who can take raw footage — warehouse shoots, factory trips, product demos — and turn it into premium content that performs.

This is a full-time remote role. Footage is delivered via organized Google Drive folders. You download, edit, and upload finished cuts. Two check-in meetings per week over Google Meet. No hand-holding — we want someone who can take a folder of clips and run with it.

WHAT YOU'LL EDIT
- Meta ads — short form (15–60 sec), direct response focus
- Instagram Reels and TikTok content (9:16, captions baked in)
- Long-form YouTube — product walkthroughs, installs, brand story
- Website hero videos and brand content

REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads that have run in market
- Comfortable cutting both short-form and long-form
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Can add baked-in captions, color grade, and handle audio mixing
- Self-directed — you receive a Drive folder and deliver a finished cut
- Reliable internet and solid editing setup

NICE TO HAVE (big plus)
- Motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar)
- Experience editing for fitness, sports, or equipment brands
- Understanding of direct response ad structure (hook, body, CTA)
