JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly analytical and client focused Data Solutions Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key bridge between our clients and our data systems. Translate business needs into actionable data solutions.

You’ll work hands on with large datasets, build and optimize queries, develop dashboards, and ensure data accuracy across our platforms. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, communicating clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders, and taking ownership of work from the initial request through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Communication
_Communicate directly with clients via email and occasional calls to support data-related requests
_Translate client needs into actionable data tasks. Provide clear status updates and deliver results in a timely manner.
_Maintain a strong service mindset. Focused on responsiveness, professionalism, and problem resolution

Data & Technical Work
_Write and optimize custom queries in Google BigQuery
_Build and maintain structured tables for downstream analytics and reporting
_Develop and manage dashboards in Looker Studio for clients and sales
_Integrate and retrieve data from APIs using tools like Postman
_Support data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and reliability

Problem Solving & Operations
_Troubleshoot data issues and identify root causes efficiently
_Independently investigate and resolve inconsistencies across different datasets
_Take ownership of problems from identification through resolution

Internal Collaboration
_Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders (product, data, sales, operations)
_Develop a strong understanding of data pipelines and end-to-end data workflows
_Work independently while staying aligned with team priorities

Required Skills
_Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical and structured approach
_Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery and PSQL
_Experience building dashboards and reports (Looker Studio or similar)
_Familiarity with APIs and tools like Postman
_Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
_Strong written and verbal communication skills
_Strong understanding of data normalization and standardization best practices, including:
___Structuring data for scalability and performance (e.g., separating dimensions vs facts)
___Creating consistent naming conventions and controlled vocabularies
___Eliminating redundancy and avoiding conflicting data definitions
___Designing datasets that support reliable downstream analytics and reporting

Preferred Experience
_Minimum of 3 years experience
_Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
_Experience in the electronics component or EMS supply chain
_Familiarity with BOM data, part numbers, or sourcing workflows
_Experience working with large datasets (millions of rows)
