About the Company
Hometown Exteriors is a local residential roofing and exterior contractor with multiple product offerings.
You’ll be working directly with the owner (me) to implement and maintain our marketing and automation systems for core offers.
This is a long-term role for someone who likes clear systems, marketing, and automation.
Role Overview
I’m looking for a tech-savvy Marketing & Automation VA who can help me implement and maintain a full funnel:
Landing pages - Meta ads - Instant estimator / quote forms - n8n automations - Pipedrive - RingCentral SMS/phone - Slack - Google Sheets reporting.
You do not need to be a senior developer, but you must be comfortable inside tools like n8n, CRMs, and automation platforms, and able to follow and improve step?by?step SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Landing Pages & Forms
Help build and update landing pages (copy, images, sections).
Add and update lead capture forms (name,
Make sure forms are correctly connected to webhooks / back?end actions.
2. n8n Automations
Build and maintain workflows such as:
Form submission - n8n webhook - create Contact & Deal in Pipedrive.
New deal - send RingCentral SMS + send Slack notification.
No?response leads - follow?up
Daily/weekly sync of deal data into Google Sheets.
Handle basic JSON fields, mapping, and logic (IF conditions, filters, error checks).
3. CRM & Communication Tools
Set up and maintain Pipedrive fields, stages, and views for gutter leads (Variant A vs B, source, campaign, etc.).
Connect Pipedrive with Slack so stage changes (Appointment Set, Estimate Sent, Closed Won/Lost) trigger messages.
Assist with RingCentral SMS templates and making sure SMS are triggered from automations or via Pipedrive integrations.
Help organize and keep data clean (no duplicate contacts, correct phone/email, etc.).
4. Meta /
Input ad copy, headlines, and hooks I provide into Meta Ads Manager.
Set up the correct campaign structure, ad sets, and ads (I will provide the plan).
Ensure correct URLs, UTMs, and pixel/conversion events are used.
Export performance data (CPL, CTR, etc.) and help update a tracking sheet.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain a simple Google Sheet or dashboard showing: leads, appointments, jobs won, CPL, and CPA by variant and campaign.
Document workflows and update SOPs when we change or improve automations.
Must?Have Skills & Experience
Strong English reading and writing (you’ll work from written SOPs and write basic messages).
Hands-on experience with at least one of these: n8n, Make (Integromat), or Zapier.
Comfortable working with webhooks, mapping form fields, and basic JSON in an automation tool.
Experience working with a CRM (Pipedrive preferred, but HubSpot/GoHighLevel/Zoho etc. is OK if you’re willing to learn Pipedrive).
Very organized and detail-oriented – you double-check that fields, links, and automations are correct before we go live.
Able to learn new tools from documentation and video tutorials.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus) Skills
Experience specifically with Pipedrive.
Experience with n8n (or deep experience with Make/Zapier and ready to move into n8n).
Basic understanding of Meta/Facebook Ads setup.
Basic HTML/CSS understanding.
Experience in home services, real estate, or other local lead?gen businesses.

You don’t need to be an expert in all of these on day one, but you must be confident learning and using them daily.
Work Schedule & Hours
40 hours per week.
Must be available for at least 2–3 hours overlap with US Eastern time on weekdays for quick check-ins.
Long-term role – I want someone who wants to stay, grow with the systems, and take on more responsibility.
