JOB OVERVIEW

Porchlight Media is hiring a full-time photo editor (5 days per week) to produce high-quality real estate images using 5-bracket HDR blending and flambient editing techniques. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, consistency, and modern real estate photography standards.

The ideal candidate has experience editing HDR and flambient images, understands natural color balance, and can deliver clean, bright, and true-to-life results that enhance each property’s appeal. You should be comfortable working with high volumes while maintaining consistent quality and fast turnaround times.

Responsibilities:

Edit real estate photos using 5-bracket HDR blending and flambient techniques
Ensure straight verticals, accurate color, and balanced exposure across all images
Replace skies when needed and enhance lighting for a polished final product
Remove minor distractions (e.g., blemishes, cords, small objects)
Maintain consistency across full galleries
Meet daily deadlines and communicate clearly with the team

Requirements:

Proven experience with real estate photo editing (HDR + flambient)
Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop
Strong understanding of lighting, color correction, and perspective correction
Ability to follow editing guidelines and maintain brand consistency
Reliable communication and ability to meet fast turnaround times
Experience with AI editing tools (sky replacement, object removal, etc.) is a plus
