JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are a fast-growing pickleball facility management company based in New York City operating multiple venues across the NYC metro area. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Operations Assistant to support our day-to-day facility operations remotely. This is a great opportunity to grow with a dynamic sports and hospitality business.

Work Hours
This is a split-shift role. You must be available during both windows:

Shift 1: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST (11:30 PM – 3:30 AM PHT)
Shift 2: 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM EST (7:30 AM – 11:30 AM PHT)

Please only apply if you are fully comfortable with this schedule. Punctuality and online availability during both shifts is required. You must be able to respond to messages within 5–10 minutes during active shift hours.

Responsibilities

Add and remove players from sessions as needed
Monitor upcoming open plays and events; execute cancellations at least 2 hours before scheduled start time
Send out cancellation emails to registered players using provided templates
Handle event-related email communications via Gmail and Outlook
Communicate with the team in real time via WhatsApp during shift hours
Maintain accuracy and flag any issues to the team promptly
Additional responsibilities may be added as you grow into the role

Training
Full step-by-step training will be provided. No prior pickleball knowledge is required — we just need someone sharp, reliable, and willing to learn our systems.

Requirements

Based in the Philippines
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail — accuracy in bookings and communications directly impacts players and operations
Own laptop or desktop computer in good working condition
Reliable high-speed internet connection (backup connection strongly preferred)
Must respond within 5–10 minutes during both shift windows
Comfortable working a split-shift schedule including late-night hours
Minimum 6-month commitment required
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs)
Comfortable working in both Gmail and Outlook
Prior administrative, customer service, or virtual assistant experience is a plus
Fundamental understanding on how to use AI.

Compensation & Benefits

$1,000 – $1,200/month USD depending on experience, your number of hours worked per day will likely be around fall around 3-4 hours depending on how fast you work.
