Remote Bookkeeper / Accounting Cleanup Specialist (Philippines-Based)Pay: $7–$9 USD/hr depending on experience | Part-Time or Full-Time | Remote

About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to perform a full cleanup and reconciliation of 5 years of back accounting records in QuickBooks. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:

Audit and reconcile up to 5 years of QuickBooks records (transactions, accounts, categories)
Clean up and organize chart of accounts, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Manage and resolve Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) discrepancies
Prepare and file 1099 employment/contractor forms accurately
Ensure books are IRS-compliant and ready for tax reporting
Communicate findings and progress regularly with ownership

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
Strong working knowledge of US IRS regulations and compliance
Experience with AR/AP management
Experience preparing and filing 1099 forms
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable internet connection and availability during US business hours (at least partial overlap)

Preferred:

Experience with multi-year accounting cleanup or catch-up projects
Familiarity with US small business accounting
Compensation: $7–$9 USD/hour based on experience
