About Us
We're a U.S.-based B2B appointment-setting company. We help businesses fill their calendars with qualified sales meetings — and we've been doing it for years. We're growing, and we need a sharp, detail-obsessed sales assistant to support one of our senior sales leaders directly.
This isn't a call center role. This isn't data entry. This is a real seat on a real sales team — and the right person is going to learn a TON about how B2B sales actually works in the U.S. market.
What You'll Actually Do
1. Lead Sourcing (the core of the role)
Source qualified leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator (we'll provide access)
Hunt for leads through organic search across a variety of websites
Vet the quality of every lead by checking their website AND their social media pages — we don't want junk leads, we want REAL prospects
Build clean, organized lead lists ready for our sales team to act on
2. Follow-Up Support
Assist our sales team with follow-up strategy on every recent prospect meeting
Make sure NO lead falls through the cracks — ever
Help draft and track follow-up communications
3. Sales Calendar & Pipeline Organization
Organize and maintain our sales team's calendar
Track every deal: closed sales, likely sales needing proposals, leads that need follow-up now, leads to nurture for later, and leads that didn't convert
Keep our pipeline clean, current, and actionable
4. Other things as needed — this role will likely grow into more responsibilities over time. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
The Real Goal of This Role
Simple: Everyone who intends to buy actually DOES buy. And everyone who needs follow-up actually GETS IT.
If you can own that outcome, you'll do well here.
What We Need From You
EXCELLENT spoken English — clear, professional, easy to understand
EXCELLENT written English — proper grammar, professional tone, no awkward phrasing
Strong attention to detail (we'll test this)
Comfort with LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or willingness to learn fast)
Reliable internet, quiet workspace, working headset/mic
Organized, self-directed, and proactive — we don't want to chase you
Available 40 hours/week aligned with U.S. business hours
Compensation & Growth
a. $200 USD/week to start (40 hrs/week, paid as an independent contractor)
b. This will average $866 USD / MO, though months with 4 pay periods will equal $800 USD and months with 5 pay periods will equal $1000 USD
c. Room to grow. As you prove yourself and take on more, your pay grows with you. We're not interested in keeping good people underpaid — we're interested in building a long-term team.
d. 13th Month paid as long as you're a contractor in good standing with us as of Jan 1 of each year.
How to Apply — READ THIS CAREFULLY
We get a lot of applications. To make sure we only talk to serious, sharp candidates, please complete the following homework and include it in your application. Applications without the homework will not be reviewed.
Homework (please answer all four):
1. Record a 60-90 second audio or video introduction. Tell us: who you are, your relevant experience, and why you'd be great in this role. (Upload to Google Drive, Loom, or YouTube unlisted and share the link.)
2. Go to LinkedIn and find 3 U.S.-based companies that match this profile: B2B service businesses with 10-50 employees, headquartered in the Midwest United States. For each company, give us:
Company name and website
The name and title of the most likely decision-maker for hiring an outsourced sales/appointment-setting service
One specific reason (based on their website or social media) why they might be a good fit for our service
3. Write a short follow-up
4. Answer this question in 3-5 sentences: "A lead tells you they're 'definitely interested' but keeps rescheduling the proposal call. What do you do?"
Subject line for your application:
Please use this exact subject line so we know you read the whole post: "Sales Assistant Application — [Your First Name] — I Read the Whole Post"
We'll review every application that includes the complete homework. If we like what we see, we'll invite you to a short interview over Zoom.
Looking forward to meeting you.
