JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT US
Amplifly Studio is a boutique AI-powered brand amplification studio based in New Zealand. We work with a focused client roster — property developers, ecommerce brands, and growth-stage businesses — handling brand strategy, social media, paid media, content creation, email marketing, and marketing automation.
We are lean by design. Our model is founder-directed, contractor-executed. That means every person on our team does real work, has real ownership of their domain, and communicates directly with the founder. No layers.
We are early-stage and building fast. The systems you build here will become the replicable backbone of how we service every client we onboard.

THE ROLE
We need a Marketing Automation Specialist who can own the technical build of our automation and data infrastructure — across our own agency operations and all active client accounts.
This is not a strategy role. We need someone who can build, wire, test, and document. You will take defined briefs and Notion specs and turn them into working ---------- scenarios, Airtable bases, and connected marketing stack flows. WHAT YOU WILL BUILD
Your initial build list spans three areas. These will be scoped and briefed individually — this post gives you the full picture so you can assess fit.

DATA + AIRTABLE INFRASTRUCTURE
– Build and maintain Airtable bases that auto-populate from upstream triggers (HubSpot, Make, webhooks)
– Connect intake forms, CRM updates, and proposal status changes to Airtable records
– Structure bases as reusable templates the agency can clone per new client

CONTENT + CREATIVE PIPELINE
– Build the content creation loop: brief generation ? asset creation triggers ? scheduling ? performance data loopback
– Connect AI image generation and creative tools into Make flows
– Automate posting workflows across Publer and Buffer from Airtable-sourced content calendars
– Route performance data fro ---------- ta, Google, and social platforms back into reporting dashboards

MARKETING STACK AUTOMATIONS
– Social listening: set up monitoring flows for brand mentions, competitor activity, and keyword tracking
– Competitor site scraping: structured data capture from defined competitor URLs on a scheduled basis
– SEO automation: rank tracking pipelines, crawl scheduling, and data routing to reporting
– Google Ads and Meta Ads: connect campaign data into centralised dashboards; automate reporting pulls
– Shopify (Happy Valley Honey): order data, product feed, abandoned cart, and inventory automation flows
Email automation: Make + HubSpot/Klaviyo flows for triggered sequences and list hygiene
– Agency operations: pitch-to-payment pipeline automation (HubSpot ? Airtable ? Make ? PandaDoc ? Xero)

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
– You will not write brand strategy or creative briefs — that is the founder's domain
– You will not manage social media accounts or write captions
– You will not build the Taylored Group customer care portal — that is a separate hire and workstream
– You will not manage paid media campaigns — you will connect and automate the data flows around them

SKILLS REQUIRED
Non-negotiable:
---------- (formerly Integromat) — you must be proficient, not learning
– Airtable — relational base design, automations, views, and API connections
– Webhooks, APIs, and JSON — comfortable reading and working with API responses
– Google Sheets / data routing — pulling platform data into structured outputs
– Shopify — understanding of the data model and available integrations

Strong advantage:
– HubSpot — workflows, properties, pipeline automation
– Meta Ads and Google Ads data connections (not campaign management)
– Web scraping tools (Apify, Browse AI, or similar)
– Social listening tool setup (Brand24, Mention, or similar)
– SEO tool APIs (Ahrefs, Semrush data routing)
– Klaviyo automation flows
– PandaDoc variable fields and webhook triggers
– Xero API basics

Not required:
– Design skills — we have that covered
– Paid media management experience — we manage campaigns separately
– NZ-based — timezone overlap (NZ or AEST) is a strong preference, not a requirement

HOW WE WORK
You report directly to the founder. There is no middle layer.
Work is briefed in Notion. Every build has a spec before it goes to you. You are expected to flag gaps in the brief before you build, not after.
We use Loom for async video reviews. Most communication is async. We have a weekly check-in.
Documentation is not optional. Every scenario and flow you build must be documented in Notion before it is considered complete. We build for replicability — your documentation is part of the deliverable.

HOW TO APPLY
Send us a short cover note — not a template, not a form letter. Tell us:
– Which part of this scope you are most confident in, and where you would want support
– One automation build you are proud of — what the problem was, what you built, and what the outcome was
– Your hourly rate in USD
– Confirm you can work with ah NZTimezone

We will review applications as they come in and move quickly for the right person.
