JOB OVERVIEW

Company: Hoolest Performance Technologies ( ---------- )
Location: Remote (Philippines preferred, global considered)
Hours: ? FULL-TIME — 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday. This is not a part-time or project-based role. We require 2–3 hours of daily overlap during US business hours (MST). Remainder of hours are flexible.
Compensation: $1,000–$1,200 USD/month (full-time salary)
Payment: Weekly for first month, then biweekly. Via Wise, PayPal, or OnlineJobs.ph EasyPay.
Start Date: ASAP

About Us
Hoolest Performance Technologies ( ---------- ) makes VeRelief — a handheld vagus nerve stimulator that calms your nervous system in under 60 seconds. It was built by a biomedical engineer, backed by peer-reviewed research, and it actually works. The VeRelief Prime ($199) is our flagship, the Hoolest Pro ($499) is the hands-free version, and we offer a gel refill subscription ($11/month or $99/year) that keeps customers coming back.
We've been around since 2017 and have 300+ real reviews. Combat veterans with PTSD say it stopped their panic attacks. Parents with chronic anxiety say they can finally sleep. People write to us saying this device gave them their life back. This isn't another generic DTC product — when you help more people find VeRelief, you're helping people who genuinely need it.
Our team is small, fast, and direct. We communicate daily on Slack, ship changes the same week we d ---------- on them, and don't waste time on corporate process. You'll work alongside a media buyer, an email team, and operations — everyone knows each other by name and talks every day.
We need someone to own what happens after the ad click. That's you.
Before you apply, visit ---------- and look at our VeRelief Prime product page. The best candidates will reference specific observations in their application.

The Role
You will be our first dedicated CRO Analyst. This is a full-time, long-term position — not a one-off project or part-time gig. Your job is to understand what is happening on our website — where visitors drop off, what confuses them, what convinces them — and turn those findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.
You are not expected to redesign our entire site. You are expected to watch, measure, analyze, and tell us exactly what needs to change and why. When changes need to be made, you will spec them clearly (wireframes in Figma, written briefs) so they can be built by our Website Builder (a separate hire) or by our internal team.
You are the eyes and the brain. Someone else is the hands.
Important context: You are not just optimizing for a single product purchase. Our business model includes the initial device sale ($199) AND a gel refill subscription ($11/month or $99/year). This means you are optimizing two conversion events: the initial purchase and the subscription attach rate. Understanding how these interact is part of the role.

What You Will Do

Review Clarity/Hotjar session recordings and heatmaps weekly (minimum 20 sessions/week)
Analyze Google Analytics (GA4) conversion funnels to identify where visitors drop off and why
Produce prioritized CRO findings reports with clear recommendations
Design A/B tests with proper hypotheses, success metrics, and sample size requirements
Create wireframes and copy briefs in Figma when page changes are needed
Write or direct on-site conversion copy (headlines, CTAs, objection handlers)
Sync weekly with our media buyer (our media buyer) to understand which ads and audiences are working, and translate that into on-site insights
Sync weekly with our email manager to keep messaging consistent
Report wins, losses, learnings, and priorities to leadership every Friday
Help evaluate candidates for our Website Builder role

What You Will NOT Do

You will not be expected to build pages in Replo or Shopify (we have a separate hire for that)
You will not manage ads, email, or social media
You will not be treated as a general VA — this is a strategic, analytical role
This is an exclusive, full-time role. We expect you to be dedicated to Hoolest during working hours, not splitting time with other clients.

In Your First 30 Days

Complete a full CRO audit: 50+ Clarity session recordings reviewed across our main product pages
Map our Google Analytics (GA4) conversion funnels and document baseline metrics (CR, bounce, AOV, revenue per session, subscription attach rate)
Meet with our media buyer and our email manager to understand what is working
Deliver a CRO Audit Report: your top 10 prioritized findings with recommended fixes, ordered by estimated impact

We are not asking you to change anything in 30 days. We are asking you to deeply understand our site and tell us what matters most.

In Your First 60–90 Days

Spec your highest-priority recommendations in Figma for our Builder to implement
Launch and manage your first 3–5 A/B tests
Establish a weekly CRO reporting cadence
Begin demonstrating measurable improvements on key pages
Help us identify and evaluate our Website Builder hire

Required Skills

Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar — You use session recordings and heatmaps as your primary tool, not occasionally
Google Analytics (GA4) — You can build funnels, read cohorts, and connect traffic source to conversion behavior
A/B testing — You design proper tests with hypotheses, run them correctly, and interpret results honestly
Figma — You can produce clear, annotated wireframes and page specs for a builder to implement
Shopify familiarity — You understand how Shopify pages, cart, and checkout work (you do not need to code)
English communication — You can write clear recommendations, copy briefs, and present findings without confusion

Nice-to-Have

Copywriting ability (you can write conversion copy, not just recommend it)
Experience with health, wellness, or high-AOV DTC products ($100+)
Understanding of paid media metrics (CPM, CTR, ROAS)
Experience with subscription-based DTC businesses (subscription attach rate optimization)
Experience with Replo, Shogun, or similar page builders

How We Work

Communication: Slack (daily), Loom (screen recordings and walkthroughs), Google Drive (documents and specs)
Tools we provide access to: Clarity, Google Analytics, Shopify, Replo, Figma (team plan)
You provide: Your own computer and reliable internet connection
Meeting cadence: Weekly sync with Luke/Nick (Fridays), weekly check-ins with our media buyer and email manager, async communication throughout the week
Trial period: The first 30 days are a mutual trial period. If it is not a fit for either side, no hard feelings.

Why This Role Is Different
You are not a VA. You are an analyst who owns a critical business outcome. When conversion rate goes up, you did that. Your work directly moves revenue.
You will build a team. Within 60 days, you'll help us hire a Website Builder who reports to you. You're not staying a solo contributor — you're growing into a team lead.
One brand, deep focus. No agency chaos. No juggling 10 clients with conflicting brand guidelines. You will know our customer, our funnel, and our product deeply — and that depth is where the best CRO insights come from.
The work actually matters. We get messages from people saying VeRelief stopped their panic attacks, helped them sleep for the first time in months, gave them their life back after PTSD. When you improve a page and more people find this product — that's real.
We're a startup that acts like it. Fast decisions, direct communication, no layers of approval. If your data says we should test something, we test it this week. Leadership is in Slack every day. You'll never feel like you're shouting into a void.

How to Apply
Step 1: Send your resume and a link to your portfolio or case studies. We want to see examples of CRO work with actual data — not just design mockups. Show us a before/after with metrics.
Step 2: Answer these 3 questions in your application:

Tell me about a specific page you analyzed where you identified a conversion problem. What was the problem, how did you find it, and what did you recommend?
Visit ---------- /products/verelief-prime. Spend 5 minutes on the page. Name 2 things you think are working well and 2 things you would investigate first if you had access to Clarity data. (There is no wrong answer — we want to see how you think.)
Our product is a $199 device with a $11/month gel subscription attached at checkout. What unique CRO considerations does a device + subscription model present compared to a simple single-product purchase?

Step 3: Top candidates will receive a paid trial task (2–3 days, $100–$150 compensation regardless of outcome). You will review real session recordings from our site and deliver a prioritized findings report and an A/B test plan.
To filter for serious applicants, please begin your application with the word: CLARITY
We review every application personally. If your experience matches, you will hear from us within 5 business days.
