The Virtual Assistant will support Bethel Church’s Digital Media and Communications team by creating, editing, posting, and managing content across multiple platforms, maintaining website updates, and assisting with media production and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
• Schedule and post content on
• Write captions and format posts
• Turn sermons into social media clips and quote graphics
• Maintain a social media content calendar
• Upload reels, shorts, and sermon videos
• Respond to basic comments/messages when needed
Graphic Design
• Create sermon series graphics
• Design event flyers and promotional graphics
• Create social media graphics and quote cards
• Resize graphics for different platforms
• Maintain brand consistency
Video Editing
• Edit sermon videos for YouTube
• Create 15–60 second social media clips (reels)
• Edit podcast videos
• Add captions, music, basic motion graphics, and color correction
• Export videos in proper formats for each platform
Website Support
• Update website pages
• Upload event information
• Post blogs or sermon pages
• Update graphics and photos on the website
Administrative Support (as needed)
• Upload content to
• Organize OneDrive files
• Help with event registration setup
• Data entry and research projects
Required Skills
• Social media scheduling tools
• Graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
• Video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
• Website editing (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Docs, Excel, OneDrive, Teams)
• Strong English communication
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
• Worked with a church, ministry, or content creator
• Experience editing sermons, podcasts, or teaching videos
• Motion graphics experience

Work Expectations
• 20–40 hours per week
• Must be available for weekly team communication
