Video Editor – Short Form + Long Form Content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube)

Remote | Part-Time | Philippines

Pay: $6–$8/hour
Hours: 15–20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow

We create uplifting content that includes lifestyle ---------- nts, jewelry, friendship, inspiration, and real-life stories. We are looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor / Content Assistant to help turn raw footage into strong, engaging content.

About the Role

This is a video-focused role, not a general admin VA job.

You will help edit and prepare content for:

TikTok
Instagram Reels
YouTube Shorts
longer-form videos such as interviews, storytelling videos, and event recaps

You will not be responsible for posting or scheduling. Our social media manager handles that.

Your role is to help create engaging, scroll-stopping content with strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling.

Responsibilities
Edit short-form videos for social media
Edit longer-form videos such as interviews, storytelling content, vlogs, or recaps
Pull short clips from longer videos
Review raw footage and identify the best ---------- nts
Choose strong hooks and engaging scenes
Select the best images or frames from photo/video content (including iPhone Live Photos)
Organize raw and edited files
Remove duplicate or unnecessary files
Prepare final files that are ready for posting
Workflow

We use a shared iCloud folder to manage content.
Experience is helpful but not required — we can show you how it works.

Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and viewer engagement
Organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
Comfortable communicating in English
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

YouTube editing experience
Experience with lifestyle, fashion, or inspirational content
Understanding of hooks and engaging ---------- nts
