We are hiring a high-performance video editor to create short-form ad creatives for an e-commerce brand.
This is NOT basic editing. You must understand how to make videos that convert on Meta
You will be responsible for:
- Creating 5 - 15 short-form videos per week (15 - 45 seconds)
- Editing UGC style ads (TikTok-style, fast-paces, high retention)
- Adding hooks, captions, sound effects, and pacing for optimised conversions
- Iterating on winning creatives, not just making 'random' videos
- Following briefs, but also contributing your own creative ideas
You MUST understand:
- Hook within first 1 - 3 seconds
- Retention editing (pattern interrupts, pacing)
- Direct response style ads (problem, solution, proof, CTA)
- Basic ad psychology (what makes people stop scrolling to buy)
Tools:
CapCut / Premiere Pro / After Effects (any is fine, but you must be fast)
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To be considered, you must:
1. Send 3-5 examples of ads you have made (no generic edits)
2. Include the word "WINNER" at the top of your application
3. Briefly explain why you think those ads would perform well
If you do not follow these steps, your application will be ignored.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with e-commerce ads / dropshipping ads
- Fast turnaround (24-48h per batch)
- Strong English understanding
- Ability to receive feedback and improve quickly
Performance bonuses are available if ads perform well, up to 10% of net profits from each advert.
